Es la versión 67 de los premios Golden Globe, conocidos por ser una antesala de los premios Oscar de la Academia.

Este 2010, se destaca la nominación de Penelope Cruz por su papel en el musical Nine, la doble nominación de Meryl Streep por It's complicated y Julie & Julia, y la participación en la categoría de Mejor Película Extranjera de La nana de Sebastian Silva (Chile).
